Imam Taufique Aziz

Imam Taufique Aziz was born in the Ukraine to Bangladeshi parents, and was raised in the United States. He is a graduate of Knowledge International University (جامعة المعرفة العالمية) based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He has also learned from many well-known Scholars that have enhanced his knowledge, particularly Shaykh Sa’ad ibn Naasir ash Shithri (may Allāh preserve him).

He has been a member of various communities and served as an Imām in the Greater Philadelphia area, Maryland and in South Jersey. While doing so, he developed a close relationship with the youth, offered weekly classes on various topics, and delivered Jumu`ah Khutab across Masājid in the USA. In most of these Islāmic centers and institutes, he has taught from books such as Usool ul Fiqh, Lum’atul I’tiqaad, Kitaab at-Tawheed, 40 Hadeeth of an-Nawawi, Usool ath Thalaathah and others.

For those in need of Islāmic counseling and advisory, Imam Taufique Aziz has assisted many brothers and sisters, guiding them to overcoming their problems as advised in the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah.

He has directed Muslims to authentic Islāmic advice when it comes to numerous issues, some of which include marriage advice, sexual abuse, drug, alcohol and porn addiction. He has also counseled those suffering from Sihr (witchcraft), schizophrenia, OCD, and various other psychological disorders, based on Qurʾānic Healing (Ruqyah ash-Shariyyah), according to the authentic Sunnah, and Hijāma (cupping) therapy.

He has conducted various Non-Muslim Da’wah programs at Colleges and Universities. Along with this, Imam Taufique Aziz volunteered as a Muslim Chaplain at the Maryland Correctional Training Center.

Ustādha Hanan Albadâ

Ustadha Hanan Albadâ was born in Upstate New York where she began on the path of seeking knowledge at a very young age. Her formal pursuit of Islamic knowledge began in 2002 when she moved to Yemen. At a young age, she became a student at an Islamic University located in the capital of Sana’a, where she held the distinction of being the youngest student ever accepted in the entire university.

During her university years, she successfully concluded her studies in Qurʾān and the Arabic language. It was during this time that she received guidance from Allāh to relocate and further her education at Darul Hadeeth in Dammāj. This esteemed institute was established by the Mujaddid (reviver) of the Sunnah in Yemen,  Shaykh Muqbil bin Hādī Al-Wādī, may Allāh’s mercy be upon him.

By the grace and favor of Allāh, during her time at Darul Hadeeth Dammaj, Ustadha Hanan acquired proficiency in Arabic grammar, Quranic studies, Hadith, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Principles of Jurisprudence (Usul), and various other Islamic Sciences. Her comprehensive studies encompassed the entirety of the Sahih of Imām Al-Bukhari, with selected portions committed to memory, including Baloogh Al-Marām, Riyādh Al-Sāliheen, Usūl Ath-Thalātha, Kitāb At-Tawhīd, 40 Hadith of Imam An-Nawawi, Umdat Al-Ahkām, Tafsir As-Sa’di, and several others.

She has studied many of the Islāmic sciences under the guidance of reputable Yemeni scholars, encompassing both males and females. Among those who played a pivotal role in shaping her path of knowledge was Shaykha Aisha Umm Abdillāh Al-Wādī՚yyah, may Allāh preserve her, the daughter of Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadī Al-Wadī, may Allāh have mercy on him.

Ustadha Hanan has shared her knowledge by instructing classes and leading workshops in masājid and communities, focusing on subjects such as Fiqh, Hadith, Arabic, Quran, funeral procedures (Janazah), puberty guidance, childbirth education from an Islamic standpoint, and workshops dedicated to women & motherhood. In addition, she has provided instruction to young children in Islamic schools and masājid, forging meaningful connections with the emerging generation of Muslim youth.

She also homeschools her children and holds a deep passion for everything connected to women and children’s holistic wellness. With a background in women’s wellness, she has obtained certifications and trainings as a labor and childbirth doula, bereavement doula, childbirth educator, lactation consultant, herbalist and certified in hijāma (cupping) therapies.
